Benalmádena Pueblo is a little mountain village about four miles inland from Benalmádena Costa, nestling in the foothills of the mountains of Mijas. Time has not really changed the narrow, winding streets lined with demure, white houses to any great extent and the ‘Pueblo’ still displays the charm of traditional Andalusia. The ‘Garden Ramparts’ of the village afford spectacular views of the coast and a chance to relax in peace and tranquillity.
There are many small, intimate bars in which to enjoy the local food and wine. To the west of Benalmádena, there are twelve miles of uninterrupted sea and sand, and to the east, a collection of small sandy coves that are all very clean and safe. You will find bars and cafés on the beaches.
